Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 – $75,000, depending on experience, skills, and location. This role is also eligible to participate in performance bonus incentives and the company’s benefits program.
About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong skills in Power BI and modern data analysis practices to join our team. This role will help us transform raw data into actionable insights, create dashboards that drive decision-making, and ensure our reporting foundation is accurate, scalable, and secure. The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years of experience in data analysis, is detail-oriented, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and anomalies across business functions.
- Partner with business teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance standards.
- Leverage Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and SQL for advanced data preparation and analysis.
- Work with developers to define data models and support integrations.
- Document data definitions, KPIs, and reporting standards for consistency across the organization.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support executive and operational decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Proficiency with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, row-level security, and report optimization).
- Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas).
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and joining datasets.
- Familiarity with data governance and security practices in Microsoft 365/Azure environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex findings in clear business terms.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform, or other low-code/no-code tools.
- Experience with Python or R for data transformation or statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or other cloud data services.
- Experience supporting KPIs, operational dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Microsoft Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification is a plus.
