JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Director of Partnerships to lead Warehouse Anywhere’s partner strategy as a core, revenue-generating part of the commercial organization. This role sets the direction of our channel partner strategy and owns the full partner lifecycle, including maintaining and growing existing partnerships, driving partner enablement, and forging new partnerships across the market. The Director of Partnerships builds a three-pillar partner program spanning managed service providers (MSPs), referral partners, and technology integration partners, and carries a clear commercial quota tied to partner-sourced revenue, top-of-funnel pipeline created, and the net number of new partnerships activated each year.

This is a commercial, quota-carrying individual contributor role with a clear path to leadership and the opportunity to set the course for the partner program and, with continued success, grow a team around it. The Director of Partnerships collaborates closely with the Technology team on integration partnerships, with the Sales organization on deal registration and channel-sourced pipeline, with Marketing on co-branded enablement, and with Client Operations and Customer Success on partner-influenced accounts. The role also owns Warehouse Anywhere’s storage partner network and the commercial agreements that support it, maintaining the partner data asset as a single source of truth for consistent execution and scalable growth.

The Director of Partnerships is expected to use Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools daily to accelerate partner research, outreach, enablement content, and pipeline analysis, operating as the experienced human in the loop and using AI responsibly. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and starts as an individual contributor, with the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated channel team, including a Channel Partner Manager, as partner volume grows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Channel Partner Strategy & Program Leadership

  • Set and own the direction of Warehouse Anywhere’s channel partner strategy, defining the program structure, partner tiers, and go-to-market motion across all partner types
  • Build and manage the three-pillar partner program: managed service providers (MSPs), referral partners, and technology integration partners
  • Own the deal registration process end to end to prevent channel conflict, protect partner relationships, and ensure clean attribution of partner-sourced opportunities
  • Establish partner agreements, commission terms, and rules of engagement that govern how partners transact with Warehouse Anywhere, with structure in place to scale beyond the first several active partners

New Partnership Development

  • Forge new partnerships across the market, including net-new MSPs, referral partners, and technology integration partners, carrying an annual quota for the net number of new partnerships activated
  • Source, qualify, negotiate, and close new partner agreements that generate revenue and top-of-funnel pipeline
  • Build and manage a partner-development pipeline with the same rigor as a direct sales pipeline, forecasting partner-sourced revenue and pipeline in HubSpot
  • Develop the MSP motion using proven affiliate/channel partners who both refer leads and manage client relationships on the platform as the live template for scaling the program

Existing Partner Management, Growth & Enablement

  • Own the health, retention, and growth of existing partnerships, driving increased partner-sourced revenue and pipeline quarter over quarter
  • Drive partner enablement by overseeing production of the partner enablement kit, including one-pager, talking points, referral process, and co-branded materials, partnering with Marketing on initial production
  • Build and maintain partner portal capabilities, including deal registration, commission tracking, and access to enablement materials
  • Evaluate, select, and own channel/partner management software, such as PartnerStack, Impartner, Salesforce Alliances, or a HubSpot-native solution
  • Support and maintain the public-facing partner page on the website, including the partner application flow

Technology Integration Partnerships

  • Lead technology integration partnerships in close collaboration with the Technology team, prioritizing integrations that expand the platform’s reach and create joint go-to-market value
  • Pursue API integrations with self-storage operators and platforms that enable automated workflows and real-time data exchange
  • Partner with Technology to scope, sequence, and commercialize integrations, translating partner and customer demand into a prioritized integration roadmap

Storage Partner Network & Commercial Agreements

  • Own and grow Warehouse Anywhere’s storage partner network, formalizing and managing commercial agreements with Space Partners (self-storage operators) and Service Partners (for example, electrical, waste removal, cleaning, and security vendors)
  • Maintain the partner network data asset as a single source of truth in the Store-y platform, supporting consistent execution, efficient sourcing, and informed partner selection
  • Partner with a data analyst to keep partner and facility records clean, current, and decision-ready, including standardized onboarding and a partner performance/star-rating framework

Cross-Functional Partnership & AI Adoption

  • Partner closely with the Sales organization on deal registration, channel-sourced pipeline, and joint pursuit of partner-influenced opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing on co-branded enablement, partner visibility, and demand generation through partners
  • Partner with Client Operations and Customer Success to ensure partner-sourced and partner-influenced accounts are onboarded and supported without friction
  • Use Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools daily to accelerate partner research, outreach, enablement content creation, and pipeline analysis, operating as the experienced human in the loop and using AI responsibly

Reporting & Communication

  • Submit a written weekly update to the Vice President of Sales covering partner-sourced revenue and pipeline, net-new partnerships, deal-registration activity, enablement and portal progress, wins, issues and risks, decisions or asks, and next week’s focus
  • Lead a monthly Partnerships KPI review with leadership covering partner-sourced revenue, top-of-funnel pipeline created, net-new partnerships, partner retention and growth, and program adoption
  • Communicate honestly and early, surfacing bad news with the same urgency and clarity as good news

Leadership Standards

  • Demonstrate ownership of outcomes, prepare with data, present with clarity, and commit to next steps
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, sound judgment, and consistent decision-making, especially around partner agreements, commission terms, and commercial deal registration
  • Model Warehouse Anywhere’s cultural values: Solutions-Driven, Teamwork, Operational Excellence, Reliability, Accountability, Game-Changing Innovation, and Ethics

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, alliances, or business development, including SaaS sales
  • Demonstrated track record of building a channel partner program from early stage, with measurable partner-sourced revenue and pipeline
